Paving the Way in 2021: ASGC Provides Mass Vaccination for its Frontline Workers and Entire Staff against Covid-19 Across the UAE

ASGC Construction has started 2021 by providing access to immunization against the Covid-19 disease to all its employees through vaccination campaigns held throughout the organization, in accordance with directions from the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention. The mass vaccination initiative by ASGC is in line with the UAE’s aim of inoculating more than 50 percent of the country’s population by March 2021.

Over 5,000 employees and more than 300 office staff have already received the first and second doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, administered by a professionally accredited team of doctors and nurses. The vaccination campaign has received a largely active response and participation from the employees, with most of employees having already received the first and second doses of the vaccine at the end of February 2021.  

The well-being and safety of ASGC employees is of prime importance to the management.

Speaking in relation to the Covid-19 precautionary and immunization efforts by the Company and the UAE Government, ASGC’s CEO, Bishoy Azmy said, “Construction is an industry which involves a significant amount of physical interaction and the health and wellbeing of our employees was a major concern. While we took significant precautionary measures to protect our workers before it became available, the arrival of the vaccine has been very important for us and the industry as it will ensure a safe environment both onsite and in the office.”
